Every fan must read....crazy stuff

Jan 5, 2015, 9:32 PM

Clemson fans, we want to win so bad that we'll do whatever it seems to help our school. They are preying on that fact and the passion of fans. Funny part is as they bamboozle these student-athletes saying MONEY=LOVE they don't get any of it because that would be a violation. What about the athletic program, academic programs, win history being the reason not just who bids the most money for your services that you don't even get any of. How this company makes it past state government or better business bureau confuses me. Maybe that needs to be the next movement by fans.

FANS! We have many fundraisers that work directly for Clemson. Deal directly with the school you cheer for. No middle man is needed. This message needs to reach every fanbase or our sport will turn into whoever is willing to pay their hard earned money convincing 18yr olds to come.

The money argument is already clouding our good sport and now some money that falls in a weird kind of way is now introduced? This basically says who ever fan base has the most disposable income will get the best athletes. We know that impacts the discussion already with facilities and stuff like that but now they are creating yet another way to make MONEY MONEY MONEY a huge part of the equation. Please don't fall for this people. Reach out to the better business bureau. Fax or email away much like when we have other things we want. That won't cost you a dime by the way. Destroy this while its early or we'll all be sorry.

Further preying on emotions in another thread mentioning students paying an unwanted athletic fee that is often times at least hidden in tuition so paid by parents, scholarship, financial aid, etc but you want to prey on a students or fans emotions by getting them in a bidding war with another school over an athlete? Yeah, thats honorable. C'mon man. We have some stupid people in our fan base but we have way more smart ones.

Great post sir, and I fully agree. This is a travesty and needs to be snuffed out now.

I will join you in your quest to shut this down

This can't be a real company

It said the money will go to the school's booster club OR OR OR OR another 501(c)3. What other place would I want it to go except my school's booster club? That's a huge opportunity to redirect some of the money to other charities supported by the company that is NOT my booster club. Did anyone else see that on the site?

Maybe, it's time for collegiate administrations to rise in

collective voices and say, "Enough is enough!"

Thus far, from the information reported "skepticism" would be a mild word that comes to mind.

"Foul odor" might prove to be two words that are more applicable.
