Agree with this comment fully. I used to work for a Canadian based company, and most of them are not big fans of Quebec in general, and Montreal especially. Comparable to how most Americans view California/ San Francisco in the US. They syphon money from the producing provinces to prop themselves up and have a disproportionate influence on their national politics.

I personally don’t think we should build statues of any man or name any roads bridges or any other structure after men or a woman. Anyone wanting to remove statues should do you say through our legal system and not through force those engaging in force to remove statues are doing it unlawfully and should be prosecuted. When we allow emotions and feelings to drive our behavior we are no better than animals and the behavior that I’ve seen in the streets of our contrary the last several months makes the human race no better than barbarians .
