Dexter Dennis will be on his offical visit today...

I hope that one or two of the assistants have already been non officially hired and that he knows more about the situation, and can talk to the new assistant(s) by phone. Same thing with JL from Princeton. Needs to get these hires in quick.
Other wise bad timing on this visit. Probably going to Indiana. Rumors are that he gave Indiana a silent commit from their fan tweets and forums.

That makes no sense. He already has a good rapport with our coaches. I believe he would tell them before now if he has decided to go to Indiana.

Well, he already planned offical visit the next day, but now no assistant except Bender, for now. Also, guy who was going to be his point guard and starting teammate opened up his recruitment. Not an ideal situation to be in...

Please provide proof of tweets or forums that say he's a silent commit. I searched Twitter. Nothing. I looked at their forums... nothing.
In fact on one of their forums, the only mention of Dennis was a long thread of people saying they didn't want him.

I saw a tweet that said he committed but it might be wrong. If you were objective about this who do you think would be leading after the latest newsboy? You don't think this is bad timing after last week when the offical visit was made? I mean JL just opened up his recruitment. IMO that was a big draw for Dennis
Again, I said that I HOPE That the new assistants have already been unofficially hired, don't you?

I'm not going to play your games. You said you heard he was a silent commit to Indiana. I'm asking where you heard that from. I searched and there was 0 mention of him being a silent commit. Most of what I read stated that they didn't want him.
What you are doing is starting bs rumors that you completely make up. I'm not sure what your motive is, but you have been doing this for a while. It's very strange.

One of forums said they thought once an opening on roster happened Dennis was going to commit there. Probably just a cocky fan. There was tweet making fun of Brad Brownell is involved. Fans are fans...

what makes you think that will help?
Our bball assistant coaches have been a revolving door under BB for years. And the way you phrase it makes it sound like the assistant coaches are the most important reason for a kid to come to Clemson, instead of the head coach. Isn't it kind of weird when we lose guys because of assistant coaches leaving? To me that means none of them want to play for BB.
Brad should be able to handle recruiting on his own. And if he's not, then that's a big problem. It's not a good thing when kids down want to play for your head coach.

1. Did you notice the defensive commits we lost when venables left for Oklahoma? Does that mean the kids didn't want to play for Dabo?
2. When you say our program is a revolving door for assistants? What are you comparing that to? Do assistants leave at a higher rate than other schools?

PROBABLY BECAUSE COACH DEAN PLAYED WITH HIS DAD AND THEY ARE GOOD FRIENDS. HOWEVER GEORGIA JUST SIGNED A GUY OUT OF THE PORTAL THAT IS THE SAME SIZE AND POSITION SO HOPEFULLY THAT HELPS. MAYBE YOU MISSED THE PART THAT SAID HE IS STILL CONSIDERING CLEMSON. NOT LIKE A TROLL TO MISS SO MANY TIDBITS.

Of course I'm upset about it. Llewelyn is a stud, and IMO was an upgrade over dawes and honor. Dude just seemed like a gamer and he was long. There were so many times last season where we really needed a big shot and it seemed like honor/Dawes/hemenway/etc would always miss those shots. I thought Llewelyn could be that guy. I really hope he recommits. He has a fantastic opportunity here.
As for reasons, the only plausible reason is that he was closest to dean since his dad has a prior relationship. Brownell said his family was extremely diligent when choosing the school. I would imagine not knowing who his position coach would be, as well as coach dean leaving are his main reasons for decommiting.
Let's hope brownell names assistants soon.

Yeah, but both assistants in a week, and one of the best draws just opened up his recruitment yesterday right before his visit. Just being objective on what could happen. I HOPE IM TOTTALLY WRONG...
