Etienne lack of touches

Anyone heard a coach say why Etienne didn’t get more touches? Even if we only had 59 plays he should be touching the ball more than 11 times. I think that’s what bothered me the most, especially on 3rd and short at the end of the game. He wasn’t even in and Bryant had just run twice....

Nope, don’t understand it at all. Understand it even less when we go empty backfield in short yardage situations and it’s obvious to everyone in the world that we’re going to run it with Kelly.

They had 7 and 8 men in the box every play, that's death to the running game. Until we can open it up downfield consistently, teams are going to continue to load the box.

5 offensive linemen blocking 7 or 8 men in the box, do the maff. It kills the run. Downfield passes are the only way to get them out of the box.
