Etienne highlights, just watch the first play

Sep 26, 2017, 1:37 PM

It just doesn't seem possible he could do this.

Watch the play starting at 00:26 and reply when you see it

Right when he hits the edge, he goes from 100 mph to light speed in a single step - and that's BEFORE he trucks and hurdles some poor kid.

Tremendous leg strength.

And why coaches stress "finish the tackle".

He was blowing it. That would have been a loss of 15 in...

college. I hope he never tries anything like that in college. That said, it was cool for small high schools though. He was so much stronger than those other kids that he could improvise more. That was good.

Go back and watch the kid's frustration at 1:35. Hilarious as he knows he got beat.

The kid refuses to be taken down, and with so much speed... End zone

I get the sense that Travis Etienne , for whatever reason or another may have been slightly undervalued in the RB rankings for his class . He played at a tiny school in Louisiana and was committed to aTm at one time , then LSU and Clemson jumped in late .
I wonder if we haven't stumbled upon a player that hasn't even hit his stride yet , that with our player development in the weight room and in the film room will become an all time great .
The early returns already show a kid that has that awfully rare ability to run with power and with speed equally well . He's got an " extra gear " as they say , and a knack for splitting defenders and creating his own open space with good vision of the developing play and with his top end speed coming so quickly out of first gear .
Maybe the best late get in a recruiting cycle EVER for Dabo and the staff .
Watching him develop this year should be a blast .
