ESPN Playoff predictions and Clemson what-ifs

Not breaking any news here, but a loss Saturday at NC State would certainly put a damper in Clemson's Playoff streak. It wouldn't eliminate the Tigers, however.

ESPN's Playoff Predictor still gives Clemson a 38% chance to make the Playoff if they were to lose Saturday and still win-out, which would have to include NC State losing twice to allow for an ACC Championship berth.

Currently, the Tigers are given a 28% CFP chance, behind Alabama (77), Georgia (73), Oklahoma (59) and Oregon (41). If Clemson were to win out, ESPN's Playoff Predictor gives it a 91% chance to make the CFP.

Vegas odds for Clemson making the CFP are currently way higher than eSECpn
As of 3 days ago Clemson 3rd best odds. Behind Bama and UGA
