They still are way behind the other services in recruit rankings. I would probably look at the 24/7 composite rankings.

I have a very hard time believing the recruit rankings. If the recruit rankings are accurate, I don't see how anybody would be able to stay within 30 pts of Bama.
When we have a walk-on WR, a converted WR at that, schooling 5 star DB's for 2 years in a row........well I'm sorry, but somebody's rating is just flat wrong. Our classes are averaging around #10, but we keeping smoking all these programs that are supposed to have better recruits. Either their ratings are wrong or their Coaching is inferior, I suspect it's both.

If Bama has 70 4 and 5 star guys on their 85-man roster and we have 55, we can still compete because they can't play all of those guys. We just have to hit on a slightly higher percentage of our guys whereas they can afford to miss a little more or to run guys off, etc.

Let's be honest though there are certain recruits in GA that are gonna go to UGA no matter who the coach is. For example, Herring was gonna be a dawg whether it was kirby or richt

I am very confident that UG will continue their tradition of doing less with more. By the way, Clemson has now won two National Championships since UG won their last one.

Not sure recruiting has been their problem/solution.
DAWGS have recruited well for years. However, they have struggled with the big games and a game or two they should have won.
Will Smart change that??? DAWG Nation will have to wait and see if they can beat Vandy and Tennessee? Then we'll have an indicator going forward.
No concern as long as Dabo is at the helm IMHO.
