"When I was young, I was sure of many things; now there are only two things of which I am sure: one is, that I am a miserable sinner; and the other, that Christ is an all-sufficient Saviour. He is well-taught who learns these two lessons." -John Newton

Sacks also count as TFL in College Football

33 of his TFL were sacks, so that's where a large chunk of them came from.

Why is it hard for people here to accept that, going into the NFL, Vic's not going to be great against the run? Vic Beasley would admit himself that it's an area that needs improvement. He was drafted though to rush the passer, and he was the best at it in the draft.

I thought ESPN did a poor job of highlighting his strengths, but it's true that hhe is a bit of a one-dimensional player at this point in his career. Is the #8 pick too high for a player who's really only elite at one thing? The Atlanta Falcons don't think so, and that's all that really matters. What some guy on ESPN says about him really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. It didn't affect where he got drafted, and it won't affect his place on the depth chart, how much playing time he gets, or how productive he is at the next level.

Dan Quinn knows what he's doing....

I think they all wanted the Falcons to pick Bud Dupree but its hard for them to question Quinn....one of the best when it comes to defenses.
