However, I also wouldn't be surprised if we ended up #4, #5, #6, or #7. It's going to be tough to differentiate OSU, Oklahoma, Penn State, Notre Dame, and Clemson at this stage. We have the ugliest loss but more wins against teams with winning records (which the committee values).
I expect that Wisconsin and Miami will not be in the top 7. They don't have any quality wins and the committee values quality wins. Alabama, on the other hand, will get a pass on schedule.

If they seriously put 2 teams from the same conference ever, especially after a CCG, ratings will plummet. Almost certainly plummet. Who the h3ll wants to see a UGA CCG and then possibly another matchup weeks later?!

any lower than 5th, but I am guessing 4th. I will predict 1st UGA, 2nd Bama, 3rd Notre Dame 4th Clemson.
Bama hasn't beaten anyone, UGA has at least beaten Notre Dame. Bama's resume is pretty much the same as Wisconsin's, as far as the teams they have beaten, they have just beaten them worse.

a matter of how much we are penalized for the loss to a pretty mediocre Syracuse team and whether or not we get bumped down for not blowing teams out. I don't think we will though because our game control metric (which the committee tends to use instead of margin of victory) is good and we haven't truly been in danger of losing any game this year except for Cuse, obviously.
I really think we slot in at #3 or #4. IMO, ND and OSU are the only teams that really have a case for being ahead of us.
