"2. Uptempo offenses, meet uptempo recruiting. Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney has turned early signing into an art form. Most schools get a handful of January signees. The Tigers have 15 recruits who began classes Wednesday. If that's not a record in the 20 years or so since early signing took root, it's got to be close. That may be especially important for Clemson. The Tigers finished 10-3 and embarrassed Oklahoma, 40-6, in the Russell Athletic Bowl on the strength of a senior-laden defense. The group includes three linebackers, two defensive linemen and two quarterbacks. The latter is critical because starter Deshaun Watson is recovering from a knee injury."

Find good student athletes who will represent our University well. With the top priority being 'students,' it's easy to get them graduated and qualified to play NCAA football. That will attract the better athletes who are also good students for they are already beginning to appreciate the value of education.

Good students take to new concepts such as complicated plays which makes them better on the field. It also takes much more discipline to study and do school work than to screw around for four years during high school then graduate with what the educational system in this country calls a high school diploma. I also understand why some would want to extend their graduation and stay home for a few more months, when that part of life is gone, it's gone forever.

I do not believe there is any conflict between Dabo and Clemson's Educators. This is the epitome of being 'equally yoked together.' Thanks Dabo, you're just the right man for the job and we're just the right program for you.

I think we've found a keeper and I'm beginning to believe Dabo has found a home.
