ESECPN strikes again

Nov 18, 2015, 1:23 PM

http://espn.go.com/blog/sec/post/_/id/110625/sec-playoff-hopes-are-clear-cut-alabama-or-florida

Careful if you have a weak stomach or already feeling a little sick, this article will make you throw up your lunch.

"They may not be flashy. Their quarterback, Jake Coker, might not be a prime pro prospect. But so what? With Coker managing the offense, Alabama is the most complete team in college football.

On a neutral field, who is going to beat them?"

Good God, the bias is unreal.

Clemson is going to beat them

Nov 18, 2015, 1:49 PM

...and we're probably not alone. Alabama is 0-2 for their last two blow-games....sounds like ESPN has a bad case of amnesia.

If Clemson plays well (not like their did against Syracuse, or NC State) we win. We have D. Watson and lots of skill players, they have a QB named Coker. Alabama is 1-dimensional. Stop the run game and they lose. Slow down the run game, and they probably lose. Either way, Coker can't beat us through the air, not with our secondary. We can throw all over Alabama, and and they simply don't have the recipe to stop us on offense.

"On a neutral field, who is going to beat them?" LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!

Well a 3 loss team beat them AT ALABAMA!!! and the only reason Mississippi is not a 4 loss team is the refs made a horrendously bad punt reception interference call against Vandy.

Alabama doesn't deserve to be above several 1 loss teams ESPECIALLY Notre Dame.

When the committee rep came on and said that the group had discussed Alabama jumping Clemson but then it became apparent Clemson was the #1 team simply opened the door for them to let Alabama do just that at some point if both win out. Personally I'd rather play OSU first, then Alabama for the mini Oculus!

Alabama stats

Clem Ala

#19 #52 in Total Offense
#26 #74 in Passing Offense
#22 #35 in Rushing Offense (with a back like Derrick Henry the O Line should be doing better)
#16 #44 in scoring offense

#7 #4 Total Defense
#3 #40 in Passing Defense (Watson would pick them a part)

#29 #99 in 3rd down conv.
#10 #94 in 4th down conv.

#28 #82 in Red Zone Offense
#36 #49 in Red Zone Defense
#16 #52 in 1st down offense

And last but certainly not least, Alabama is tied for 83rd in penalties per game.

Clemson 10-0; Alabama 9-1

Soooo....why should Alabama be ranked over Clemson again?

SUCK IT ESPN WRITER MAN! ;)
