She is such a freaking idiot. It is a pretty tough schedule which could have us playing possibly 6-7 ranked teams. This is no different than last year. Couple of big issues with her line of thought:
1. The schedule is no different than most D1 schedules with 2 cupcakes.
2. ND replaced UGA as a tough "OOC" game.
3. UNC is barely a notch above our 2 cupcakes right now.

Exactly, the out of conference schedules between us and the coots are basically the same. The key is ND who is replacing UGA. I also think our conference schedule is just as tough as theirs. I don't know what she is looking at

Exactly! How come nobody ever brings that up? Ole Miss backed out. The tough SEC didn't want to play us and then we get bashed for having to scramble to get a game. Obviously we always play a tough SEC team out of conference to start the year. We have in the past and have them scheduled for the future as well. I mean can she research just a little? Unreal

OK, so we play Louisville that finished in the season in the top 25, Notre Dame and GT that ##### slapped LSU and Miss St from the mighty SEC, BC that lost their bowl to PSU by a missed extra point, Miami that lost their bowl by 3 points to SC from the SEC, NC ST who beat the same UCF that is listed on SC's "tough" non-conference schedule, FSU that made the playoff, and SC from the SEC...Yep, that's some cake walk.

ND> UCF
Clemson= USC since they're playing each other.
Clemson's playing the best team (although Clemson didn't really choose to play ND, playing ND means you're limited in who else you can play). The only real difference is that USC could lose three of those OOC games, while Clemson will only be challenged by ND and USC.

Exactly. UCF is not awful but they are still a team that you shouldn't have an issue beating. It is not exactly a risky game to schedule yet they get credit for it? lmao

Our OCC schedule:
Wofford (6-5 in 2014): Been down the past couple seasons, but they tend to play up whenever they they play us or the Coots. Have put scares in both teams and respective fan bases the past few years.
Notre Dame (8-5): Sucked at the end of last year minus the bowl game but they're bringing back a good chunk of starters. Plus, never know what year the Irish pop up and try to relive the glory years.
App State (7-5): Came on late last season and have 20 starters coming back. Figure they will be much better in year #2 as a FBS school. Plus, no one takes these guys lightly anymore since 2007.
Coots' OCC schedule:
UNC (6-7 in 2014): All the lion talk in preseason overloaded that pussy-cat backside for the Heels once the season started. See how they shape up w/ Chizik as DC but I don't think anyone's buying any hype out of Chapel Hill this year.
Central Florida (9-4): This could be the only one USC holds against us since they're defending AAC co-champs. Flip side: they lost their bowl game to a NC State team we throttled last year and this ain't the same team they played in 2013 that won the Fiesta Bowl.
Citadel (5-7): I love the Citadel but let's be honest, they haven't had a pulse since 1992.
Just on the simple eye test, there's no difference between those 3 games for them and the 3 games for us that should automatically declare the Coots' OCC schedule more playoff worthy than ours & we're playing our worst OOC 3 since 2006. Here's the only reason you can say that South Carolina has a better OCC schedule than us in 2015: their 4th opponent ended 2014 w/ a 10-3 record; our 4th opponent ended 2014 w/ just a 7-6 record.
Just ESPN's SEC bias in full effect again from ironically enough one of the ones that covered the ACC.

look past the names of the teams on SC's schedule and our schedule and just focus on the product that they put on the field last year, our schedule is every bit as tough.
The biggest reason SC's schedule is tougher than ours is because we are on it. Meanwhile we close out the season against a .500 team.

rebuilding process is finally beginning to come to a close. 5 years and counting since we've been remotely competitive. Of course we weren't competitive for the first decade i rooted for the Cubs either so that's never prevented me from being a fan.
My family got cable in 1990 which is when i got WGN and started watching every Cubs game that was on TV. The last year the Cubs were good was 1989 so i missed that by a season. I think the next time we were relevant was 1998, the year of the Sosa-McGwire steroid fest.

UNCheat has every reason to assume they will win vs the Coots in the opener. Coots have written that off as a win , but UNCheat I believe returns a pretty good offensive team , and Chizik will be upgrading that defense almost certainly right away.
Love to see the yardbirds drop their opener to an ACC also-ran. The Shatcan Spurrier grumblings would start right away.....
