10th Amendment

May 3, 2022, 8:17 AM

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

I have wondered for 49 years where exactly does the Constitution grant the US Government the right to regulate abortions?

I am not a Constitutional scholar nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn express last night.

Can someone PTBE?

I'm pro-choice but agree that Roe V. Wade was a bad

decision by the court. It should have remained with the states.

That being said, if the Mississippi law is upheld by the court, effectively overturning Roe V. Wade, watch for a run of females to the Democratic Party in mass.

May 3, 2022, 10:00 AM

you likely are already aligned with the party you'll stick with. Don't see the mass exodus, Joe.

Ya, it was Never a constitutional right

May 3, 2022, 8:30 AM

That is just laughable.

With that said, I'd rather it stay as is. It's gonna make life insufferable in America for the next yr or so.

The left will do what the left does and destroy cities and lives.

Can't wait for Antifa to organize and do it's thing.

Setting aside any morality/religious/biological question...

May 3, 2022, 8:51 AM

Constitutionally, there is no right to an abortion. The Roe decision was incorrect.

Any consequences for what happens, or any hardship that may come, does not change that. Perhaps it changes how the states should form their laws. If someone isn't happy with their state's laws regarding abortion, they are free to use democratic processes to effect change in those laws, or even move to a state whose laws are more to their liking.

Agree, and surely Cali and NY

will pay your way there to get your baby vacuumed out of your uterus. In those states, it is a basic human right to kill the unborn human.
