Ebola 2019 = 67% death rate with 2300

Ebola 2014-16= 55% death rate with 11,500+

Just think if US had people being thrown in pits and burned to stop the spread. Those are some very scary numbers. But they happened in Africa, 3rd world countries where they are not as transient. Why doesn't this get more attention?

Because it doesn't fit the Westernized media agenda! Just think if Ebola mutated and became airborne instead of contact? We could lose half the worlds population. And we have had multiple deaths in the US from ebola but it never gets traction.

Point being, fear-mongering is available and it can carry agendas to push media ratings. CV will not ever infect 40-50% of the population that AOC and Talib are spewing as facts to benefit their agendas at the same time.

Hopefully this passes quickly. I was lea6 for Alaska next week and it is cancelled, I'm pissed! Haha!

Your points are valid; however, the virus' mortality rate for a large segment of this globe's population is very high. That's the issue...seemingly healthy family(carriers) visiting loved ones and unknowingly delivering a death sentence. Of course, 'Soylent Green' scenario is appealing to some. I know you don't, though!

One problem with using Ebola for a comparison is that Ebola presents symptoms very rapidly. It is also fatal in a very short period of time too, this limits it's spread and if not for planes ,trains and automobiles folks would not make it far for it to spread.

COVID-19 has up to 14 days incubation , one can appear fine all the time spreading the virus to others. Some get it and have mild symptoms and continue to move about infecting others. Ebola does none of those things.
