Easy fix to basketball attendance

Build more dorms on West Campus to make it even easier for student. Easy walk from old Johnstone.

I vote to add dorms attached to the Littlejohn expansion. Students just need to go downstairs for a game. No excuses.

Or campus blackouts of games. Or pipe in game audio super loud so students can't study in dorm (force them to library if truly studying).

Seriously, dorms attached to Littlejohn would be awesome. Easy access to football and intramurals and Esso.

Went to school during Rick Barnes era and non-student attendance was bad then too except for big games

So Greenville should be sell outs all year then next season?

It was a noon game on a Saturday and $5 to go. That should be enough to fill the rest of it with families from Anderson, Greenville, and Spartanburg.

Maybe I'm too old to weigh in here but here is what I think. When I was growing up playing sports and attending sports events were a really big deal. But, there were no sports channels on TV. No 300+ cable channels. No personal computers. No internet. No big screen televisions. No HD TV. No cell phones. Young people have a LOT of entertainment options now. I'm not sure where this is all headed, but it seems to me that attendance in virtually all sports is going steadily down. Technology is changing sports almost as fast as it is changing the music industry.

I have a cousin that goes to scar. They have a points system for football tickets based on attendance to other sports.

Does Clemson not do anything like this?

and students will crawl on their knees for five miles to come to the games. And camp out to get tix, etc.

Don't do the above and if their apartment is a coliseum penthouse they still won't make it down.
