I agree. Ryan is stale. DW4 is good for the Falcons, but the Falcons aren't good for DW4

Good choice for the Falcons, he’s a fantastic quarterback and a fantastic person.
Win Win.
The only outstanding question is what did the Falcons give up. Falcons will likely be without a first round draft pick until Hunter Renfrow‘s grandkid gets drafted out of Clemson.

To Mayretta Tiger, do you think the Falcons have more issues than the Texans? Owners of Texans threw the whole team in the ditch for who knows what. I feel they set DW up because he stood up to them on their stupid moves. Just my opinion.Hope DW brings new life to Falcons. Matt’s been great but can’t hang forever.

Lord no. The Texans are rock bottom. Of his 3 supposed choices, the Saints seem to be better equipped and have had some success. The Falcons seem stuck in neutral and a new QB won't be enough to get going.

The notion of Houston setting Watson up is crazy. It’s not like Watson has denied ever meeting these women or even having sex with at least some of them. I’m not saying any of that equals a crime, but it’s a huge stretch to say Houston set him up. That would have to involve paying these women to lie, and it’s crazy to think they’d risk having none of over 20 women come forward and reveal they were paid to do that.
As far as comparing Atlanta to Houston I think it’s important to look at one of the major things that led to Houston falling apart which was a lack of draft picks. They gave up draft picks to get Watson and later traded other picks to get other players. Eventually they had no cap space which limited their options in free agency and forced them to trade Hopkins and they had no 1st round picks to help in the draft.
The rumor is Houston wants 3 1st round picks and 2 starting caliber players for Watson. That’s a lot for any team to give up, especially for a team with a losing record. That’s not to mention they’d be picking up Watson’s huge contract which would limit their free agent options.
Atlanta would have to be nearly perfect with their later draft picks and free agent moves to be able to build a winning team around Watson.

I wish he were going to Dallas but Atlanta is the next best thing and I can actually go see him play regularly so I hope so! Hopefully they’re sends my Ryan to Houston and we t have to give up the3 1st rounders. That’s steep. Reminds me of the Herschel Walker trade that turned Dallas into adynasty and crippled Minnesota for years. No matter how great a player is, he needs a good supporting cast

Complete fanboy decision….The Falcons are in absolute disarray and will further that by dumping little equity they have into obtaining him…He will be running for his life and will have about 1 play maker for him…This is a disastrous move for him and will result in him losing all value as a QB. He’s been Ill advised here.
