Some of my favorite moments were also spent at a urinal trough.***

There is one in the garden of the Ernest Hemingway house in Key West, operating as a fountain, that supposedly came from the bathroom in Sloppy Joes's. Hemingway said he had put enough into it over the years to have paid for it. I have found a couple of enameled cast iron ones discarded in the woods over the years and have plans to install one of them on the outside rear wall of the outhouse at my cabin. That outhouse is complete with a pink flush toilet, also salvaged, and has been christened "The Pink Floyd" and has a framed picture of Floyd the barber from Mayberry printed on pink paper.
Although, my favorite urinals are the ones slotted into the floor with water running down a tiled wall into it and you just pee on the wall.

Where will you buy those hockey puck like "freshners" that sit in the bottom? How much will that run you per year?

Strong enough to smell but then not quite cover up the smell so that you get that fresh scented urine.

Exactly. There is a perfect balance when it comes to quality and that could be costly. Something to think about. On a serious note, I went and looked at a place on the market and the owner had put one of those stand up cool urinals in his bathroom. I thought it was cool, but I thought since I have a bad back I would never want to clean something so low to the ground by hand. Something else to think about. Now you need to hire a maid.

And even most of the ones downstairs.
Mainly just the one in the garage.

AS a child, the west end zone trough were a halftime nightmare for me. Thanks for the memory, I’ll seek my therapist this afternoon.
