I double mask. You ever try using just one of the little suckers for an oil rag? It takes at least 2!!!

But I double masked to and from Mexico on all four flights. Better safe than sorry and its not an inconvenience, even in the slightest.

At the beginning of this pandemic my creative wife used a Cricut machine to make up a bunch of custom masks. It consists of four layers of high thread fabric, with an n95 type filter sandwiched in the middle. Works really well, and is snug above the nose and below the chin. I only wear it for a short period of time when I'm inside a crowded store, 15 minutes or less. They're washable.

The whole proposition of masks is ridiculous if people don't put at least a little effort into it. I'm not a mask fan and definitely not a fan of all the mask theatre, but if I have to wear one I want it to be effective.

Guy across the aisle from me on a flight last week had on 3 masks. He said it was the first time he had flown "since Covid". When the drink service started, he requested that the attendant not offer it because others would take off their masks.

Yikes.
