Felt it in Easley!

Feb 14, 2014, 10:58 PM

I felt it in Easley for several seconds. I assumed it was a big truck going by on the nearby road until I saw the posts about it here. It seemed either much stronger or much closer than the East Coast Earthquake from a few years ago.

They are saying 4.1 near Edgefield . I am about 30 miles

Feb 14, 2014, 11:30 PM

from there and I thought it was thunder at first but it got louder and then started shaking my house significantly for more than 10 seconds. As it got louder, I thought it might have been a large plane crashing but realized exactly what it was after feeling the house shake.

Feb 14, 2014, 11:32 PM

Didn't feel a thing. NYC has a way of numbing the mind.
Girlfriend in Goose Creek felt it though.

"Gamecocks aren’t ready to take college football by storm just yet. They’re not even ready to compete in their own state – Clemson will still own the territory. Gamecocks fans would be smart to keep their heads buried until that time. Avoid talking trash to a much better Clemson program.” -Dustin Tackett
