Yep, guy called an impromptu conference to b!tch about his rivals and the media only to have it turn into a 'Look at me' tantrum.
Solid work, if that was the goal. All it did is show how, even in the offseason, all the crowing success over the last few years was quickly erased by one freshman with as many legs.

And he hates it. To quote an AJC article:

He felt like he's been put at the kid's table by the media (rightfully so), and he couldn't handle it, so he waved and hollered and promised and showed that he's unable to keep his calm.
Did I miss where Dabo or DW4 brought him up? I guess they're just living rent free in OBC's head.

I made a few comments that I now wish that I hadn't. There just isn't much fun in beating an almost dead horse just bc he would love to get back up and race again one more time. When junior college guy is your headliner after last year and the recruiting class went running like he had the plague!
He knows we are joking about AA just when he was going to give it up when recruits come. Just go back to before and after practice. Plus just before impromptu Media sessions and that's it on the job.
That's my opinion about how this came about and I'm guessing this is not going to help him with the academically strong recruits if he has those. Just kidding..lol
