Oklahoma is buying Clemson football right out from under Dabo.

He’s going to have to build another one and hope Texas doesn’t buy that one.

Appreciate the optimism, happy for Brent and Tony, but the current "replacement" coaches named sort of feel like "the quick and easy" options (internal hires). Time will tell and we don't have to wait too long to see them in action, but if it doesn't go well vs ISU, I sure hope Dabo has the guts to take a mulligan on these appointments and goes looking elsewhere for coaching talent.

Didn’t we win 2 NC’s after we made internal hires at OC the last time?

We did, but we also had two 1st round QB's (bookending a guy who should have been playing receiver) during that run. These same coaches fingerprints' are already on DJ's historic regression this year. If Cade isn't as good as billed I am not very confident they can coach or scheme our way around it. David Cutcliffe seems like a slam dunk addition to the staff, assuming he wants to still coach. I hope Dabo is working on it.

As I've said before, I'm sure Dabo has been grooming coaches to fill these positions. We have a "Clemson offense" and a "Clemson defense". I doubt things will change much.

Agree on D. We need to scrap that Clemson Offense.

Saw very little improvements in our QBs over the years.

Did seem like TL's best year was his freshman year.

May have seemed that way but you’d be wrong. Stats don’t lie, his qbr went up every year.

Dabo is the right man for the job. NILvand the future upcoming pay to play schemes tell the realist in me that the best days are in the rear view mirror. Success will be directly tied to money. Culture, the Roy bus, none of that will compete with the high salaried teams.

The NIL is the poison pill in College Football. What you have is BIDDING WAR for college football players.
