Are tiger fans really selling their tix?

Nov 18, 2012, 9:38 PM

I heard there are a lot..... Come on don't sell them to #####. Donate them to some kid that would never have the chance to go to a game before that!!!

only "fans" who aren't real fans, in my opinion, would sell to Coots. The thought appalls me. Last Clemson/Carolina game at DV, I was so upset to see some coot with his tailgate set up just a block from the stadium. What kind of Tiger "fan" sells tickets and a premium parking pass to a Coot? I think it's a shame. But like I said, those people aren't likely reading Tigernet

I think in the words of our many educated T-Netters here,

they refer to it as the FREE MARKET, MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!

It makes me mad as well. I can't stand to see it either.

Irritates me to no end. Every time I see them I want to say something but I just do the responsible thing and move on.

If your selling tickets, contact me. I need two.

Thanks.

The answer is YES, some "tiger" fans are selling them to coots...

A coot friend of mine was sort of bragging today that he bought tix from a season ticket holder PLUS the guy's Lot 5 parking pass!!! So Lot 5ers, you will have coots among you, thanks to some "tiger" fan. I think that "fan" should lose his parking pass privileges next season.

Don't know why you guys get so bent out of shape about .

Nov 18, 2012, 10:26 PM

this....all I ever read on here, besides a few people like myself, is sell tickets to the highest bidder, free market, maximize profit, my business what I do with my tickets, etc. etc....and then somebody does this, and everyone gets mad. Dude probably put them on EBAY and a Coot spent the most money. That is how it goes.

Dont be surprised by the large number of gamecocks in the...

...Valley this week. There's a lot of tickets for sale here, ebay, craigslist, stubhub, etc.
It seems like there are more for sale than for any sc game at Clemson. And the vast majority don't care who's buying the tickets.
Perhaps the largest contingent of gamecocks ever in the Valley???

Went to ticket section

Nov 18, 2012, 10:32 PM

Is it scalping when one sells tickets above face value? 300 a ticket is a bit greedy

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

T-Net Economics majors say to you......

Nov 18, 2012, 10:34 PM

If 300 dollars is where the market is at, then that is where it is at. If it is 1,000, it is 1, 000.
