Defensive End: Where do the Tigers go from here?
With the losses of first-round NFL Draft pick Vic Beasley and seniors Corey Crawford and Tavaris Barnes, there were already plenty of questions about who would step in to take over the production vacated by three of Clemson’s 2014 defensive ends. With the news coming out of Clemson Tuesday morning, it's even more apparent that freshmen will have to play a big role. Full Story » |

Sorry this happened, but Dabo is true to his word and the discipline is important. this will be a good lesson for Ebo, I'd bet, and it opens the door for someone else to show their skills. Next! Who wants it?

It won't work if you don't get rid of the coot posers, coot trolls and other sowers of discord.

I'm sure you're being sarcastic. This can only be a positive, we get to start one of our hungry extremely talented freshman to step up and get some early snaps! Nowhere to go but up!

Just think where Jamis Winston would be if he had been at CU and FSU.

so, exactly what did he do to get himself kicked off?

I know that it can't be grades, because that would have been said in the annoucement. Must be something else - and serious. But inquiring minds want to know.

Word on the street is credit card fraud. According to arrestnation.com, Clemson hasn't had an athlete arrested since 2012. Looks like that might be changing. Still an impressive run.

he didn't shoot himself attempting a drug deal like some people. Seems like his method was a little more savy...yes, bad, illegal, totally wrong, inexcusable...but a method of getting money I haven't heard of a player doing...

GT and ND games begin to look pretty scary if we can't set an edge.
And in other news, Golson has committed to FSU.

All I gotta say is good riddance and good on Dabo for ridding the team of people like this. I have no sympathy for thieves. And why in the he.ll is someone who has the world at their feet stealing?! He has a free education, probably has all the girls he can handle, all the food he could want, probably gets cash from boosters, and still has to go out and steal.
What a disgrace.

I agree with the judgmental part, but

he didn't "make a mistake". A mistake is misspelling a word or misspelling a word.
He intentionally and with premeditation chose to steal, for whatever reason. And he needs to take responsibility -- not for a mistake -- but for criminal action. There is a difference.
Signed, Someone who has done a lot of stupid -- even illegal -- things, living with the consequences, and making amends.

Doing something stupid, yes. We all have.
But blatantly and premeditatively illegal? Not so much.

Oh I'm sorry. I'll get off my high horse now. All thieves should be able to steal whatever they want and never have to deal with the consequences.
What is this? Wall Street? Thieves should be punished, especially the ignorant ones. That kid just ruined his life. And for what? A gift card?
Just glad Dabo doesn't share your views or else the Clemson football team might resemble Auburn, Georgia or that school in the middle of our state.

Immediately when you swipe the card? i've had my identity stolen and tracked down the thief myself and gave the worthless cops his address and they still took forever to do anything. I've also had cards stolen and the number is being used at X location and not a cop cares anywhere. How in the world is there joe super cop sitting there at walmart ready to arrest someone over $20 immediately when he swipes the card? Sounds like he was set up to me.

I would like to say, If you break the rule's bye bye. It is amazing this conversation even came up. Rules are Rules.... We as a person need to quit being politically correct. I also see we have 9 or 10 hungry D ends. I truly was looking forward to see what Ogundeko was going to do. THANK YOU DABO, staff and the university for wanting a excellent college where rules are rules.

If he was going to be that good he would have gotten more than 16 snaps last season regardless of who the starters were and how great they were. Let him go to Ole Miss. He'll be in good company. Last time I had a bad spot in my apple I cut it out. Way to go Dabo

"Clemson’s football team is one of only five FBS programs ranked in the top 10 percent each of the last five years, joining Boise State, Duke, Northwestern and Rutgers. Clemson is the only FBS program nationally to finish each of the last four seasons in the top 25 of both polls on the field, and in the top 10 percent of APR scores in the classroom." c/p from Tigernet News

Chris REGISTER - Size & SPEED

6'2 245 lbs stacks up pretty well to Beasley's size. Can any T-Netters speak to Register's motor and 40 yard speed? Size looks good. Coach 'em up Coach V.
