This little Tiger went to heaven yesterday. He also has a brother and sister in the hospital with the same thing. Please pray for this family. I can not imagine what they are going through
Death of 2-year-old tied to E. coli infection

A 2-year-old Greenwood boy died Sunday at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenwood County Coroner Sonny Cox said Monday evening.
Cox said Myles Scott Mayfield died "from medical complications resulting from hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), a serious and potentially fatal condition associated with E. coli infection."
Investigation as to the source of contamination is being investigated by the Department of Health and Environmental Control, Cox said.
According to mayoclinic.org, HUS is a condition that results from the abnormal premature destruction of red blood cells. Once this process begins, the damaged red blood cells start to clog the filtering system in the kidneys, which may eventually cause life-threatening kidney failure. Most cases of hemolytic uremic syndrome develop in children after two to 14 days of diarrhea — often bloody.
Greenwood School District 50 issued a statement on its website Monday afternoon saying the district is aware of a "possible Shiga toxin-producing E coli infection at Springfield Elementary School."
"We will be sending letters to (Springfield) parents (Tuesday)," District 50 Community Services Coordinator Johnathon Graves said late Monday night.
According to a statement from DHEC, symptoms of STEC infections often include severe stomach cramps, diarrhea (sometimes bloody), and vomiting, and that most people feel better within five to seven days.
“We take these matters very seriously,” District 50 Superintendent Darrell Johnson said in a statement. “We are very concerned about the health and well-being of every student and adult at Springfield and in our district.”
District 50's statement also said Springfield Elementary has been sanitized.

a beautiful little girl at a very young age. My family will be in much prayer for your family. There are no words to ease the pain from the loss of a child but I can tell you from my experience God through his love, strength, compassion and awesome grace he helped us get through our loss.
blessing us with a beautiful little boy 2 years later. My son is now 25 and is a youth minister.
It is my prayer that God will bestow many blessings on you and your family.
My favorite verses that I read when I think about Jennifer are in John 14 1-7. And tonight we know there is another Angel in Heaven.

That's awful. I just got done reading the article on that poor child like 15 min ago cause my wife sent me an email. Definitely be praying for the family and those other children.
