Prayers needed for a Tiger.

Ronnie Duckworth, one of four brothers who played for Clemson needs our prayers. Ronnie was an All ACC DE for Frank Howard. He has had sudden health problems involving loss of blood. Ronne is a loyal Tiger and a great guy. I know Tiger Net can lift a lot of powerful prayers. Please pray now.

Prayers done and best wishes. Ronnie Duckworth was one tough DE, and blockers couldn't knock him off his feet. Back then, a DE's main responsibility was defending the sweep and preventing the runner from turning the corner. Ronnie was the best in the ACC during his time.

I read your post about Ron Duckworth being a DE, in what was probably what we called a five-four defence, or the old oklahoma defence (does this give an indication of how old I am?). I thought that couldn't be right because he was an interior down lineman. I then scraped the rust off of the old steel trap and recalled that it was Ivan Sutherland that was drafted with Charlie Waters(maybe). Sutherland was a down lineman for Coach Howard and Duckworth was a standing DE. You are correct sir, but all the same prayers for Ron for a speedy recovery.

I remember Ronnie Duckworth. I think he graduated the same year as Charlie Waters, and if I'm not mistaken, both were drafted by the Cowboys. Prayers going up for Mr.Duckworth.
