Most of those were desperation attempts. Clemson had four legitimate offensive attacks (3 if you don't count the wiff) to Washington's two (really 1.5) that I saw. Both were kinda at the 20 minute point of the second. That was only about a 10-15 minute stretch that the Huskies actually looked like a cohesive team. Plus the Tigers dominated possession and possession in the Huskies Defensive 1/3.

Rarely did you ever see the Huskies with numbers attacking (and we were not in bunker mode). only once around the 15 min mark did they have a 4:3 and completely blundered it. Our D and midfield was in front of them the whole time.


Read the comments - my favorite is that someone blamed artificial turf. UDub and Cary are both natural surfaces. Lol.

Other complaints are that the scheduling EST doomed UW - ignore the fact that Clemson played in Oregon not to long ago and our first title came in SEATTLE!. That the Clemson got the SEC bias (I would say "sure" because we were not like by the ref). That Clemson is only 120 miles from Cary (not 300)
