Plus, Cheese-it bowl pays almost twice what Gator pays. Google bowl game payouts.

Are on similar levels…but the Gator is basically the least of those.
In the old days, the Gator had a little more prestige…today, not so much.
Wake had a good year.
But they are never going to fill up a bowl stadium.
Hope they finish it off with a win.
We didn’t exactly fill up Orlando….it is what it is.

8 tickets to the Gator Bowl. Right after the SC win everyone including Hood made it seem like we would get the Gator Bowl. I was so excited for a Texas A&M or Arkansas matchup.

To avoid recent matchups and bowl repeats. NCSU was definitely not going to the Gator as they had been 2 times recently including last year. The thought was Wake would go to the Holiday because there is no ticket guarantee. I imagine the recent matchups with TAM played a part in us not going to the Gator and I do think the Cheezit is seen as a little better. 1) more $ 2) better location 3) also think the time slot is better so imagine Clemson wanted to go there anyway

Uppers were closed due to ticket sales so not much difference

Yeah, and there weren’t 39k there either.

Was surprised the Upper Decks weren’t even used. Hard to believe that the good folks who still buy bowl tickets through Iptay continue to get stuck in the end zone when the bottom of the upper decks are much better to view the game. That’s a long way to drive and not be able to see the other half of the field
