Who thinks chad would split if ARKY comes with open arms and a fist full of cash?

Doesn't make any sense for him.

He has his head coaching future riding on next season. Way too much talent and experience in pickens county next fall for him to leave. Also, I think he would have to pay us a large sum of money if he left.

look at his contract. if he leaves for a head coaching job he has no buyout. he does have a decent one if he leaves for an assistant job somewhere.

Maybe Dabo would offer him a HC position and Dabo could be

like General Manager. Try something totally different from other schools.
Think outside the box. I really think they feed well off of each other.

I just hope we are grooming someone to succeed him

I don't know if they'd promote someone like Jeff Scott, but it would be nice to groom someone who is already here for whenever Morris leaves.
Keep the train rolling.

Agree. I've wondered for a while if we're doing something like that.

I think Arky wants Tommy B.
If Chad went to AU - he'd have to get rid of his OC there. Totally different O than he likes.

I hope so. I think thatd get us off the hook for the rest of his buyout.

gus malzan had the same experience chad has and was hired by ark.st.not a big time program. look around the college ranks and count how many coaches with only hs and cord. experience, get head coaching jobs at big programs.dabo was in the right place at the right time and was lucky to get the clemson job but not many stories like that.

If I were him I would wait for Florida to come open. I don't think Muschamp is going to make it down there and that would be a way better location than Ark. Ultimately, I wouldn't think CM will be leaving unless a great opportunity comes open. He's got a great thing going for himself at Clemson right now. We have plenty of talent, a rabid fanbase, and an administration that is putting a ton of money into the program and into his pockets. Things are good here right now.

I typically use this site for the latest news and to get people's opinions on said subjects.
it wasn't until recently I decided to take my membership to the next level with a few icebreaker posts to give myself at least a sliver of credibility.
With all that said, I woul like to see Dabo in a football/administrative roll and to see chad promoted. I think he is the main reason we have taken the next step in our program.

I don't understand how you can post that.cm has added a lot to our program, but he didn't recruit all the talent that we have on the field.this is only his 2nd year.give jeff scott and the rest of the staff some love.if not for dabo, spiller may have went to fla.spiller opened the door for other great recruits.without those players, cm offense wouldn't click.

Arky is a very good job with a ton of resources. Couldn't blame him.

No chance Dabo would give up the HC position. Enough cash will entice CM to leave if it is with a good program. Arkansas qualifies.

I'm not dissatisfied with Dabo by any means, I think he promotes our program well, and he's all about getting us to the next level. Which in tuen correlates to being an exellent coach but Would we be the same minus chad?
