ACC official discussing the UNC 2pt play said

After the QB was tackled they considered he fumbled the ball and did not lateral to the RB. If the RB had scored it would not have been allowed since the ball carrier is the only person on offense that can advance his own fumble. I’d would have loved if the RB did score and the refs then taken points off the board. The official talking is the person in charge of ACC officials., Penn Wagers.

ACC ref says that now.
Had they scored, I wouldn’t bet on that.
