Does the QB in the bowl game matter

Stoudt vs Watson. Obviously there's no comparing the two. But with the refreshed run game and a new play caller maybe It wont matter who starts. I think morris never conformed his play calls to Stoudt's ability. You have to set your players up for success. Morris wanted watson all year and he wasn't going to change his style to accommodate Cole's abilities. I think with the emergence of Gallman/Dye and Artavis having a sammy/spiller day, we can pull off the coveted 10th win against a quality team like Mizzou, Miss. st, or Oklahoma. Just depends on if its gonna be an ugly win from Stoudt or a thing of beauty from Watson. Either QB has my confidence they can get it done.

It definitely matters. I wouldn't say our run game has emerged. We ran it well against Ga State and South Carolina. They are two of the worst run defensive teams in the country. If we are playing Ole Miss or Mizzou in the bowl I do not see us running the ball with success.

Two plays after he came in against SC, Stoudt threw another interception. That tells you want you need to know.

IMHO points delta is 21 pts higher with Watson in Game

Nope. We won the game that we needed to win to salvage our season. Watson needs to have surgery sooner rather than later in my opinion. Hopefully Israel and Bryant will bring some quality depth just incase iron man isn't ready to go game 1.

If you don't think Chad called plays specifically for Stoudt then you didn't watch the Louisville game. Wonder if it was a coincidence that shortly after DW came out against GT and SCAR Stoudt threw INTs? Maybe because the regular playbook was still out?
