Does Dabo have the fire to win like he used to?

Nov 26, 2022, 7:12 PM

I don't see the same fire? I don't hear the same screaming ( "Bring your own guts!). I miss the fire. He seems to be complacent!! Seems like its ok to lose. He is talking about his kids, wife, and his dog that like him. What about the fans that love you but want to win. Coots are not a better team, we lost this game by coaching!

He needs to fire his offensive Coaches.

No, he is not making the decisions he used to when needed. Firing Steele, Napier, hiring great & innovative coaches… and the product on the field is as my wife said “not fun to watch” and “ have no personality”. Looking for some fire and we’ll probably realize this in a few years

Your wife nailed it, no spark on offense and the defense has thier tounges dragging midway through the 3rd quarter.

I agree! I want s team that want to score 100, not a team that is happy to win by 1 or as Dabo sounded, it is ok to lose by 1!

It seems that Dabo has changed a little since his father passed. Doesn't seem to enjoy the game anymore, not having fun, and not trying to play the disrespect card. This passed CFP rankings were a perfect time, but I didnt see one quote from Dabo about Clemson being disrespected. (If I missed it, please correct me.)

Enjoying his celebrity, flying around the world and getting the star treatment at Pro sports games. Hes no longer the loveable underdog. Hes the content celebrity enjoying the 1% lifestyle. Its sad to see.

This is not about Dabo.

It obviously involves Dabo as he is leader/CEO of Clemson.

To me it is all about:

The VP of Offense and VP of Defense
Their departments are not hitting their numbers. They have never been in these roles for a Fortune100 company.
- Are they the right people to not only set strategy and set objectives, but also adjust quickly and smartly to changing conditions?
Right now, I would say no.

Director of Offensive Line and Director of Wide Receivers are knowledgeable, but inexperienced in managing personnel. These areas are not seeing the success needed nor the development and improvement desired.

Hope HR gets involved because this little old company could use some new blood and/or very robust leadership training.
