going to be a good one. But I have also been very impressed with Shipley and Pace. I was impressed with Pace even before Shipley took over the starting spot. But I look forward to watching all three play.

Easily the best RB of the 2021 Spring game. And of all the eligible RBs to redshirt, we pick him?… head scratcher. I hate he has to play because of injuries, but this is how the depth chart should have looked Game 1.

Or a cross between Ellington and Priester.

He will be a good one. I can't point to a few slow decisions at this point as a true bad mark. He is learning under duress. I am sure he will find his every play flow down the road, as I am sure those holes will be more ready available in his future.

him in action, it makes one wonder how the hayull he was 4th on the depth chart. With ball in hand, we sure as heck don't have anybody better. He must really be struggling to pick up blocks and maybe understanding the plays or whatever, but after seeing him run with the ball, I can't help but question what the heck is going on. He's definitely ready.

I have no inside knowledge whatsoever, but I do recall he had a knee injury to finish his HS career. Makes me wonder if coaches were trying to get him back to 100% before putting him on the field. Either way, he and Shipley are going to be a monster tandem going forward.

not ready for the full load at this point. I don't think the redshirt is necessary. He's not staying 4 years if that. Hard to argue about the play of Pace though. He ran well for the most part, and the long run was awesome. Hard to believe that's the first one of the year! Pace/Shipley/Mafah is going to be a great rotation!

I do think if we could just get the O-Line to consistently be average, between Shipley, Mafah, and Pace we could survive an average passing game because those 3 can play. You can win a lot of games with a average passing attack and being able to run the ball. I swear I’m finding out today if Hunter Helms can complete 7 yard slants and swing passes.
