This year Clemson’s O will score 40+ a game again. The D will be top 3. Cade will be a Heisman dark horse. The Oline will finally be back to 2018 level. The WRs and TEs will be on weekly highlight reels. PWOO will become a household name in all of college football. XT will have his bust out year and hit the NFL draft with a 1st round pick. This is going to be a special year.
Sorry Noles, maybe next year. Scar and ND this is your official notice. Clemson’s revenge tour is coming with the ROY bus full of gas! Pucker up b1tches!

I'm not buying playoff tickets just yet but I am saving "up," the money if I need it.

Totally agree with Hufferbilly, but we have to show up and play our best game every week. Win them one week at the time! That includes avoiding injuries. I really want to see XT have that kind of Bust-Out year, he needs to stay healty, along with the rest of the team! Look at our championship runs, going back to 1981, staying healthy is the key to every season! We had one QB that made the championship runs. If Trevor had a serious injury in the Syracuse game in 2018, scratch that championship!
This team has to step up, but the talent is on the team.
Go Tigers, Beat Dook!

I agree with you that this might be a special year for Clemson. Not to the point of certainty that you have, but I agree it is not an unreasonable expectation.
Here is where I disagree. "Sorry Noles, maybe next year." If Noles don't beat Clemson this year, then next year is highly unlikely. FSU is loaded this year with talent that won't be on the team next year. Something like 87% of last year's offense is returning, and we have added offensive weapons to that group.
Next year, along with Jordan Travis, a lot of that talent - offense and defense - will be gone. Norvell seems to be building a solid program, not just a one hit wonder. But, In terms of 2024 Clemson should be better than 2023 and FSU should not be a strong as 2023.

2023. It just is what it is. And I really like FSU. I do think FSU will push Clemson hard and even in 2024 they will be serious. I’m not dissing on Norvell and crew. They are coming. Just about a year or two away.

Bret, it's really hard dislike you. You're so darn reasonable....lol.
Seriously, you make sense. Clemson vs. FSU will be a good one, probably both times.
Not sure what kind of ND team we'll run into. Confident we'll beat SCAR, and a blowout would not be shocking.

Can't say that I am not guilty of it.
I do hope we stomp FSU and the chickens to shut these guys up.

The Clemson offense will return to form and score 40+ a game, agreed.
The defense...loaded, but not as confident. This is Wes Goodwin's baby, no pressure, but anything less than top 10 would be extremely disappointing. If BV was still DC I'd confidently assume top 3.
Although, if Clemson's offense is back up to speed we probably only need a Top 15-20 defense to be extremely dangerous. Outside of a bunch of unproven talent at WR the offense is loaded, so the foundation for a quick turnaround is there. Doubt Riley would have taken the job if he didn't think he was walking into a situation where he'd have immediate success.
FSU will be tough, but I like our chances. Same for ND. SCAR not worried, especially after last year.
