Shipley came out of the pile with it. What I don’t understand is who decided he fumbled it. None of the replays could really show anything other than he crossed the goalline with it tucked in tight then a GT player smashed into him with his helmet. You never see the ball get dislodged and none of line judges could see anything other than that Shipley had the ball on the ground in the endzone. Did they just take GT players word for it??

I've watched the replay alot and it's difficult to find the ball

coming out but you can clearly see Shipley turn and dive back into the EZ onto it.

I think I can see the ball hit the back of Galloways foot and bounce back towards the middle of the OL but its tough to make out.

We were darn lucky to recover though. That could've very easily been a GT TD.

We had NO BUSINESS being in the shotgun to begin with. Put the qb under center, run the QB sneak and game over. Incredibly stupid coaching that could have been disastrous.

I absolutely agree. Really surprised that this decision has not been brought up in questions to coaches, at least not that I have seen.
