We have fallen far enough that next year we won’t even be in the conversation. Start the year out ranked around 22nd and won’t be in the hunt enough to even complain about the votes.

We will be a middle of the road team with what we lose on defense and a average offense unless major changes are made there. You would think the offense would need to lead with a weaker defense but don’t see that happening.

The offense may be a lot better with Cade at the helm and our other players maturing.

We won't beat FSU for sure, probably lose to at least 1 other ACC team, ND looks like a loss and the coots probably beat us in the Roach, 8-4.

Yesterday DJ looked worse than last year. Even if you ignore decision making, he could not throw it where he was trying to throw it and on a few throws I am not even sure where that was. I have to wonder if there wasn't a physical issue that he was hiding or the team wasn't disclosing. Accuracy has been an issue, but yesterday was the worst that I remember and that's saying something.
I say that because outside of yesterday, I think that DJ's play has been a symptom of a deeper problem. I think that most Clemson fans feel like we know what is coming well over half of the time. If we do then you know that opposing DC's that have a crew of people doing film study and analytics on statistical trends can tell you way too often.
If Streeter does not make some major changes (I don't think that Dabo has it in him to fire anybody), then I don't think we could make the playoff with Josh Allen at the helm.

That is tough to access. The game is different and much less was expected in the mid 2000's and much, much less in the mid 90's. I don't think DJ is a great QB but I still think that he has been handicapped by the coaching staff to make him appear worse.

We are an 8-4 or 9-3 caliber team masquerading as a 10-2 this year. Next year we probably go 8-4. Best realistic expectation is probably 9-3 and we win a bowl ending 10-3 to keep the 10 win season streak going.
