Do you think Gus Malzahn is a good coach?

Oct 26, 2015, 9:54 PM

Or just a pretty good "system OC" that ironically might have gotten the benifit of Gene Chizik's top talent he recruited (most thought it was the other way around after Chizik had 1 bad year)

How do you keep Gamecocks out of your yard?
• Put up goal posts
What does a Gamecock grad call a Clemson Tiger grad in 2 years?

Not sure, but his DC is way over rated, and

Oct 26, 2015, 9:58 PM

if he doesn't turn things around soon they will fire him good or not. They fired their last coach after one losing season after winning a National Title the year before, so he will be on a hot seat. 8 and 5 last year, and already with 3 losses this year with several more to come, he will need a big season next year or he is gone.

I said the coach he replaced won a national title, then got fired the next year.

Fun little SEC fact, only coach ever to coach 10 years at a SEC school without winning a conference title? The Ole Ball Sac at South Carolina..... ;)

I'll fully admit I thought he was an excellent coach/hire

I'm not sure what's going on with Auburn this year I mean they looked fantastic in 2013 and obviously in 2010 when he was there. I'm shocked at their results this year. Don't they have recruiting pretty much on par or better than ours year in year out? I mean this is the guy that shaped Chad Morris and his system into what it is today. Hard to believe he could be a bad head coach. Not sure what isn't working in Auburn.

Oct 26, 2015, 10:14 PM

absolutely.... and you can't look at his track

Oct 26, 2015, 10:09 PM

record and say otherwise

regardless of how they've played this year. Don't be fooled... we are spoiled with what Dabo has done.

GM is absolutely a good coach.

I see no excuse to be that bad with their talent

Jeremy Johnson doesn't pan out and your whole offense collapses?

Ill give Muschamp a pass because of how inexplicably pathetic the D was he inherited
