I’m open to hear your thoughts. What do you think needs to happen for this not to happen week after week? We are the laughing stock to the rest of the world. Gun violence in this country is out of control.
2 causes - the insane amount of guns in this country per capita. The lack of investment in mental health. The GOP wants nothing to do with fixing either of those.

Do you know the mental health status of the shooter? Past diagnoses? Specific failures of the system?
If not, you’re just using a tragedy to lobby for BS preconceived positions that may or may not fit the situation. Maybe get a little empathy and class and stf-u until we know a little more here. The bodies aren’t even cold yet and you couldn’t wait to hop on here and start stumping.

You DO realize you're in a country with about 40 million households legally owning guns, right? Add in the millions more floating 'round illegally and try to 'control' that.
Downside is, the mentally ill and the irrational and those with high testosterone and low IQ's will sometimes kill at the slightest provocation, real or perceived.

Fault is an interesting concept _ contributing factor is a better descriptor. Businesses lobbying in their economic best interests is not illegal. Money influences politicians regardless of party affiliation. Just how our government works.

are killing kids now, at what point did it become the fault of those guns? What was the factor that caused those guns to start shooting kids when they didn't before?
Or maybe it's this: Old farts have have been telling people for about 40 years that we are raising a class of folks who do not understand responsibility for truth and self, to the degree that it is showing up as mental illness. Now that this is manifesting itself, we again fail to assign responsibility by blaming an inanimate object.

It’s interesting they have AI that can detect if you’re playing copyrighted music in the background of a video on social media but they can’t catch these guys bragging about wanting to shoot places up. Same thing with mentioning anything related to COVID. I mean we have all sorts of web scrapers and such. Seems hard to believe that a lot of this gets “overlooked.”
