Do you ever feel like you waste too much time...

being wrapped up by things of this world which in your mind displaces things which are most important? At times that happens to me but a steady reading of the Bible each day is like a rudder on the ship of my soul and sets my bow toward what is most comforting. I get the comfort attending to that feeling of the successful course change nearly every day. I understand how King David felt but who can express himself as he did in Psa 131:

"1 (A Song of degrees of David.) LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever."

In these days and times, the ONLY authentic
comfort I can find is from reading my Bible and
asking God to lead me in everything I do so
that His will is accomplished ...not mine.
