Do people normally have tickets to sell at NC game

Jan 2, 2017, 11:06 AM

and if so are they usually outrageous over face value? Didn't go last year so just curious. I assume they will be a little more in demand due to proximity. Thanks in advance for any insight

I've heard last year anywhere from $150-$250 before kickoff... I'd say they won't be more than $400 at the gate, anyone who is willing to spend $800 will not scalp tix thus low demand

Last year was a very different story due to the distance people had to travel and the outrageous flight prices.

Don't expect that this year.

People who are going to that game will already have tickets and there will be extras... it won't be $700 to get in at the gate thats for sure

I don't either. But you ready to trust $350-400 to a scalper. What if you're buying 2 or 4. $1600 cold hard cash to a stranger, when counter fitting has gotten REALLY good. Your choice.

Saw a post about buying tickets at the game earlier. So here's my .02 cents.

I know secondary market fees suck, especially fees at this level. But you're also not buying a $75 ticket. This is a $450 face value minimum ticket each. Do you really wanna trust that to a scalper?

StubHub has a same day convenience center at national championship sites. Buy online, at the game if you're trying to hold the market to the last second, and then go pickup your guaranteed ticket at the StubHub place.

That's my suggestion for the safest route buying at the game.
