In hopes of taking the sting out of this loss and to get a better idea of how the coaches will look at our passing woes, I reviewed the incomplete passes from today's game.
Disclaimer: I missed one incompletion somewhere, but I'm not going to go back and look for it. Also, I am not a coach. I may have missed some underlying issues that led to some of DJ's incompletions.
DJ Stats:
8 for 29, 99 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
Breakdown of incompletions:
Off target: 13
Drops: 3 (1 Ngata, 1 Spector, 1 EJ Williams)
Obvious Poor Route: 1 (Collins and Spector picked each other)
Contested Incompletions: 2
INT: 1
PS. It didn't work. The loss still pisses me off.

Yes, he was targeting a wide open A. Williams on a slant.

He didn't see the LB (directly in his field of view) dropping into space until the last second, so he tried to pull it back.
If he had properly read the dropping LB, he would have thrown the ball a quarter second later and Williams would have had >15 yards assuming he didn't throw off target and Antonio caught the ball.

that it was the receiver's fault, implying that DJ wasn't the primary culprit, and implying that Hood's question was somehow unwarranted.
Streeter needs to be corrected or fired, but the only person who can do that is currently part of the problem on all this.

Anyone know how many times the TEs were targeted? Read they caught just one pass. Was not able to watch due to company.
