This game went pretty much as expected. No production from the QB and no attempt to put the back up in and find a spark. There is no more pretending. DJ is not an elite QB. Not even close.

DJ is not a good QB for whatever the he!! offense this is. He’s a pro style QB not a running QB. Stick him in the Wisconsin or BC offense and he’d light it up. What I do t understand is why we even recruited him. Did they think they could turn him into a runner cause they aren’t gonna change the playbook to match his style. Except for Deshaun and Trevor, this staff has whiffed on QB recruits.

They hit so hard on DW and Trevor that a lot of good QBs are now rightfully playing at other schools instead of sitting on our bench.

The first drives are always scripted. He knew exactly what play he was supposed to be making in advance. When he has to make decisions on the fly, we get the deer in the headlights look we've seen from him all season. For whatever reason, he's terrible if he has to do anything on his own.

DJ is not the issue… coaching complacency is the issue. It’s been obvious for several years now. The majority of this board has been in a continuous circle jerk. So much so that I find myself agreeing with Keller. What happens when DJ hits the portal?

Let’s face it we have been spoiled over the last six years (having Watson and Lawrence back there). We could go down every position group and find a lot that went wrong today.

if he was hitting receivers in stride in the hands that would be one thing, but he has some throws that aren't in the same zip code. like some qbs in the past, strong arm but doesn't give his receivers a chance to catch the ball.

The thing is we can win with average QB play. We are just more talented with essentially all but 5 teams in the country. It’s this trying to win the game on every snap that is destroying the offense.

When did we have a QB that can’t run Who thought that would work Can you imagine DJ beating Ala We beat Ala with a running QB Someone went to sleep at the wheel when they recruited D J as our future QB We now are paying the price Throwing around in practice is not playing actual games
