(I'm a Nole, so I was really interested in what Richt asked him.)
Richt gave him a comparison to Charlie Ward. Whether DJ improves as much as Cholly did is yet to be seen. But, I appreciated Richt taking the opportunity to give him the pep talk / motivational speech.
Now, a funny story about Richt, Ward and Bobby Bowden.
Richt tells it this way: I was a young, unproven QB coach at FSU. In his first two games at QB, Ward had thrown 8 interceptions. Coach Bowden called me into his office. I sat down and he said, "Cholly keeps throwing the ball to the wrong team. Is that my fault, is it his fault, or is it your fault?' I replied, "I understand. I'll fix it."
Well, Brandon Streeter is in a similar situation to Richt at that point in his career. He understands what his job is. I expect him to "fix it."

FSU completely changed to offense to complement Charly Wards

Mobility rather than a drop back passer. After that he took off!
I don’t see them changing the offense too much.
I suspect we’ll see more tight end in the offense with Davis and Bringinstool

Yep, that is one of the underrated things about Richt. Hw was QB coach with Bobby. Bobby was always an I formation, pro set offense. He said often that his favorite play was the toss sweep. He threw the ball, but it was out of the pro-set.
Richt said that when Ward became QB he struggled running that offense. He did much better when they were in a two minute offense with shotgun and 4 WRs. He said it took him and Brad Scott a strong sales pitch to Bobby to convince him to make the shotgun, 3 or 4 WR set the base offense and let Ward use his feet when the play broke down. That was when Ward really took off. But, it wasn't until a few after the Richt/Bobby conversation I cited when Bobby was finally convinced.
