Walt is like a car crash.............don't like it but tend to listen.
In all honesty he is fairly knowledgeable about sports but he obviously comes across as very arrogant, etc.
He college picks are not very good either. Don't let him fool you. I heard him claim that he was something like 80% on his "Road Rage Guarantees" over the past few years. Dude, if you are THAT good why in the heck are you doing a radio show from a station in Clemson SC????

that's NOT somewhere you want to go. He tries to sell everyone on how great he is and loves for his groupies to grovel and feed his ego, he is just average on his picks.

Walt seems pretty intelligent but hates to admit when he is wrong. There is always some kind of excuse. His love for Paul Johnson and GT is sickening. It makes me hate them even more and love to see them lose. I listen for an hour everyday on my way home and I would say between the annoying commercials, his worthless dribble with Ramona, I figure I hear about 15-20 minutes of actual sports talk. Then we have his "regular" callers, EDDD, Joe, Stewart, Irish Davey, that we have to listen too. Most are ok but have the same old drivel.

Walt is great in his own mind for sure. we must endure a lot of useless noise and jibber to hear about 10 - 15 minutes of relevant sports talk. But, when you are on the verge of a special season then listening to a bunch of jibber to hear the good is worth it. It's like going to church... we eat the good hay and then spit out the many sticks.

as for deptula, he has grown on me somewhat. if his voice we a little more tolerable and if he was not quite so #### arrogant when he is right, i would really enjoy his show. he has a lot of good info, but it is hard to get past that voice and haughtiness.

time. Obnoxious, arrogant loudmouth at times (I think a lot of that is by design to get people riled up). I always tune in his show for the drive home, but sometimes I have to shut it off or switch to something else. If he's talking about Clemson sports in particular, or college football/basketball/baseball in general, it's a pretty sure bet I'll listen. If he's blabbing about the NFL or the current NBA then I usually plug in my Milli Vanilli cassette and move on.
