A south Carolina defender is under some heat for an absolutely dirty hit on Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence on Saturday.


The one thing College Football Playoff’s top contenders must avoid on Saturday is injuries. One injury to one key player can be the difference in winning a championship or not.

Clemson is looking to cap off an undefeated regular season against South Carolina on Saturday. The Tigers have been one of the four best teams in the nation this season. After QB Trevor Lawrence’s early season struggles, the Tigers’ QB is back to his usual self.

South Carolina knew the only way to beat Clemson was to try and get pressure on the Clemson quarterback. But the Gamecocks have been unable to do so.

As a result, one South Carolina defender decided to take matters into his own hands in one of the dirtiest plays of the season. Well after Lawrence released the football in a throw downfield, USC defender Kingsley Enagbare hit Lawrence low from behind.
