Yes like the one I am reading from you. Wes was the genius in the box for Venabkes but some people don’t want to see it.

Wes was the genius in the box which was why he was promoted to DC. CBV has been a great coordinator with and without Wes. OU has not had a great D since Brent left the program. To think Venables can take the same players who have been average and make them elite in one off season is asinine. To believe Wes was the only reason he was a great DC is nonsensical given his overall record.

Dude, you can’t be serious. Now, I think Wes my turnout to be a great DC. But to say he was the genius behind CBV is dumb.

Well, sure the players mean a lot, but I did see lots of Wes bashing including one today by someone who posted above. Players are variables, but the two constants in the equation are BV and Wes. I hope BV is as good at Ok as he was here. He is a good man and great coach.

Pretty sure that if we switched defensive rosters with OK they'd have a much better defense than us.

Coaching matters, but when it's almost even talent makes a big difference.
