Saying, if TUA hadn’t played LSU hurt, dropped the ball near the goal line and wasn’t anywhere near his best..

we might have played Bama a 5th time.

Didn't Bama play 3 teams (Ole Miss, MSU, and Arky) last year that were so bad that they fired their coaches, one mid-season? And one team (UofSuc) that could not afford to fire their coach? They had a cakewalk thru that season.

BTW: We would have slaughtered Bama - AGAIN!

I don’t know about slaughtered, LSU received a lot of luck to win that game by 5 points.

Their offense was slightly better than 2018.

Their defense was CONSIDERABLY worse. Obviously good enough to beat Duke, NM State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, USCjr and Miss St (lol to that gauntlet), but Ole Miss, A&M, LSU and Auburn showed just how much their defense regressed.
