Did y'all know Dabo to Bama is a done deal.

You would think that if you are watching ESPN. It seems every other question they ask their Bama guests are about that possibility.

I think they will be disappointed. Dabo has a good thing going at Clemson. I honestly think he could retire here.

I like Dabo personally. He is a great person and a great coach. When Coach Saban retires though, I DO NOT want Dabo to take the job at that time. It is just too difficult to follow a coach with the success that Saban has had at Bama and be successful. I would rather pick up someone else and let that person be the one to fail before Dabo "comes home" to Bama if that is a possibility.

Family means everything to Dabo. Clemson is the only home his kids have ever known. Dabo is THE MAN at Clemson. He will just be another coach at Alabama.

oh, I think it's absolutely clear the only job he would consider leaving Clemson for is the bama job. but I have to agree that it'd be hard to take it right after the great satan left. Be a ridiculous act to even try and follow. as soon as you lose a game it'd be that's it.

Dabo knows he has a home at Clemson win or lose for as long as he likes. What's the incentive to even go to bama? What, to win a natty? Nah, Dabo isn't that naïve thinking.
