IMO they both played very poorly. The TD's thrown over the safeties looked like high school JV defensive plays.

I was thinking the same thing about Kearse ... I haven't noticed the same lack of intensity with Green though.

On several plays since mid-season, I haven't seen that fire and resolve in Kearse. I expected him to run down at least one of those guys and tackle just like he did against Louisville last year. The missed tackle vs. North Carolina made me start to think that he's just been trying to avoid injury.

Maybe he didn't want to get hurt before he turns pro. On the other hand, giving him the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he's been playing with an injury -- although I've never heard that mentioned. If anyone failed to give their absolute BEST, that's on them .. they'll know.

Regardless, I'm SO PROUD of the way this team has represented Clemson University. The players gave their all and left it ALL on the field. Hats off to them.

One heck of a season Tigers!!! THANK YOU!!!

Amen. Kearse looked like he was running around

at half speed all night. He was in position to make the tackle on the kickoff return that went for a TD and just let the guy run around him and then gave a lackluster effort to track him down. Also had a weak effort going after the onside kick. And you have to believe OJ Howard running wide open in the secondary was at least one of their responsibilities as well.
