UGA's loss was very recent and more indicative of where the team is right now and Notre Dame's loss was in game 5.

and the CFP has already set a precedent that teams that do not play for a conference championship can still get in the CFP (e.g., Alabama).
UGa losing a close game is one thing. Getting completely blown-out is another matter entirely.
Clemson dropped three spots in the poll after losing to UGa by 7
OcryO State dropped six spots after losing to Oregon by 7
Notre Dame dropped five spots after losing to Cincinnati by 11

All the examples you give are much earlier in the year when teams are getting jumped by unbeaten teams.

As stated not a lopsided thumping from cfp team
ND didn't play any fcs teams. Plus they dominated a ranked Wisconsin team. They beat Purdue. Both wisky and Purdue should be ranked. Arky shouldn't be.
Granted uga best win is us. They did beat Kentucky. We could argue but Kentucky not a good team. You could make the case it's a toss up.
Whatever happens, just hope uga gets beat. Michigan may have a chance of hanging with Bama or UGA but Cincy gets blown out.

Why should Wisconsin and Purdue be ranked?
You also conveniently leave out ND needing overtime to beat FSU, beating Toledo by only 3, VT by 3, and UNC by 10. But yeah, they should get in because Georgia lost by 6 points more than ND lost to Cincinnati.

I want to see Michigan beat them and totally embarrass that bunch of leg humpers. The recruits need to see that they are being sold a dream that just ain’t going to happen as long as Saban is at Bama.

Not because I particularly want to give UGA an entry into the CFP but because I think conference championships should count for way more than they currently do. ND didn’t play today and didn’t win a conference so you, in effect, punish UGA for playing today.
With that said, I might put Baylor in above UGA just to make the “win your conference” point.

Dumb. Bama and Georgia are the two best teams in the country and it’s not close. Any top four leaving Georgia out is just stupid.
