In a shoot out anything can happen. OUs QB is an experienced big time okay maker and D has improved.

Be careful of your words. Do you really mean experts? Or do you mean media personnel?

I realize that some of the media should have expertise in this subject, but they also have a job to keep there employer happy, and controversy sells.

I see very little evidence that many experts are weighing in on these matters.

If OU doesn’t turn the ball over, I think this game is a high scoring affair. Both defenses will struggle against these offenses and last team to score wins. Since the OU staff has the prior CFP experience, I give them the edge on team preparation heading up to the game. Yes, I think this will be a very enjoyable game to watch.
